Your contributions can help keep Boston Park Advocates (BPA) going strong.

Why support our work?

Quality green spaces are key to our city’s health, happiness, and economic prosperity. Since 2005 Boston Park Advocates has been a voice for citywide green space initiatives and campaigns. We played a key role in the Yes for a Better Boston campaign, which successfully advocated for adoption of the Community Preservation Act (CPA) in Boston. CPA has generated millions of dollars per year for green space projects.

Today, Boston Park Advocates works to connect green space activists from across the city and elevate awareness and support for green space issues. An informed, active community of advocates is crucial to ensuring that Boston has world-class green spaces that are available to all residents.

Examples of what your financial support enables:

  • Periodic events that bring together green space activists and government officials from all across Boston, MA

  • Part-time support for our volunteer steering committee

  • Communication tools, such as our website, which help connect activists with information, funding resources, and advocacy opportunities

Will you help support Boston’s park advocacy network and strengthen the work of activists across the city to help make Boston healthier, more resilient, and more equitable?
